One of the many great things about living in Texas is going to the State Fair in the fall! We are still enjoying several “firsts” with Joelle, and the fair did not disappoint!
Of course we ate LOTS of food… who doesn’t?!
We tried out all of the gadgets that are far too expensive for this family.
And, Joelle LOVED feeding the animals 🙂
She was a little surprised about how large camels are in real life 🙂
The ABC song she sings at school has Yakkity Yak in it, so this guy was a fav of hers!

I was NOT thinking before I agreed to do this slide. We had to walk all the way up there… and, ummmm I haven’t worked out in MONTHS!
But it was definitely worth it!
We may have tummy-aches from eating too much, but we enjoyed every minute of it!
Looks like you had a blast! The Virginia state fair is in town here, so we are heading out for our son's first trip. Such a fun first!
