Helping Hands

My heart is full to the brim!  My sweet friend Jennifer planned a day of service for our Sunday School class at one of the local women’s shelters.  It was such a blessing to see our girls in action today, and I’m so thankful they gave a day from their break to do this with us!  I totally meant to bring my actual camera, but forgot.  So, iphone pictures will have to suffice!

After playing with the kiddos and making a craft we got busy making Christmas baskets for their volunteers!  

We stuffed them with candy and Christmas goodies…

And tied them up with fun Christmas ribbon…

    

I think we ended up putting 32 of them together!  The workers were thrilled that we got so many done!

 And, of course, we had a little fun along the way…

We will definitely be planning more trips to volunteer at that organization because it was such a blessing!  Hopefully next time we will have the rest of our girls with us!
