Our Christmas morning started off bright and early (or rather dark and early!) at 6:45 a.m.! The pups were anxiously waiting while daddy pumped gas 🙂
We headed on over to my parents for Christmas morning. I’m not going to lie… I was horrible at taking pictures at my folks’ house because I didn’t have on enough make-up and I was still a little sleepy!
But, Jared opened a very entertaining toy, an air-soft gun from my parents. To say he just “wanted” this gift would be the understatement of the century. He has spent the last month researching guns and convincing all the boys to ask for guns as well! They plan on having “air-soft” wars at church 🙂
On a side note…I’ve said, “Jared, put that down. Seriously.” at least 1000 times today!
My dad may have kicked us all out of the kitchen to make breakfast, but he sure did a good job!
Here’s my sweet Momma and me after church on Christmas day! We had both perked up a little by then, and we had on our scarves from each other! LOVE my parents sooooo much!

After church we headed over to the Lemons for Christmas lunch! We presented the girls with “lumps of coal” first thing! It was quite entertaining, and we have decided to make this a yearly tradition 🙂

This was probably the best part of the afternoon… Rick was overly excited about getting socks for Christmas. I mean, who doesn’t want socks?? His reaction was priceless!
So, we decided to make fun faces while opening presents as well 🙂

… and Baby Jesus! She seriously asked us to get her the baby Jesus for Christmas. Who knew that you could actually order a baby in swaddling clothes on Amazon, ha!

We hope you all had a very Merry Christmas! We are now exhausted, but it has been more than wonderful to spend the day with all of our family, AND worship our Savior this morning at church! Couldn’t have been better 🙂
