Christmas 2018

I may be a little late to the game, but I thought I’d play a little catch-up! Christmas is our favorite time of the year, so I just have to share some pictures. Every year on Christmas Eve we go to the Candlelight Service at our church, find a restaurant that is open for dinner, and then go to the movies. This year we went to eat pizza and saw Mary Poppins Returns. Oh, and we always come home and change right into our Christmas jammies before heading to bed!

These two in Christmas jammies melt my heart.

You would never know how much grief these three give me for wanting so many pictures right before bed, ha!

I hope they recreate this picture for me when they are 25!

In December we read a Christmas picture book every night before bed. On Christmas Eve we open up our last book for the month. These moments are definitely my favorite! You can see some of our favorite Christmas books HERE.

We woke up the next morning to some pretty awesome gifts from Santa! I never snap very many pictures during this time, but I do have a couple. Israel loved this giant T-Rex that can swallow small dinosaurs!

Both of the kids got Boogie boards. These are great for car rides and traveling… they remind me of a Magic Slate or Magna Doodle from the 90s. You can draw and push a button to clear the screen.

Joelle also got this really intense Lego set that Jared and I ended up putting together while the kids watched. Joelle really wants to love Legos, but she just never can get into building them!

And that’s a wrap! We had a wonderful Christmas as a family!
