While Jared and I are waiting for our little jewel to make her appearance, we have been doing some things around the house. Knowing that our life/finances will completing be consumed with our child, we wanted to make sure we got some of our wish-list items taken care of before that happened!
I have redone our bedroom probably 6 times since we got married, and have never been fully satisfied. It’s kind of been the room that I’ve just put on the back-burner because nobody sees it but us. But, then Pinterest happened in my life {dangit} and I couldn’t ignore all of those lovely bedrooms out there anymore!
I found the perfect room on House of Rose and really just tried to copy it as best I could, ha! You should check their room out because it’s 100 times better than ours, but I’m no pro! Jared and I went to Lowes and bought the exact paint without even looking at the colors beforehand ๐ There are still some things I need to do here and there, but for the most part it is finished!
I want to do a little more to the side wall, but I like to have some projects left unfinished so that I have things to do when I’m off work!
We had the big silver vases, so we just needed the flowers for them!
Yes, that round thing is supposed to have votives in it, but I can’t find them for the life of me {and, maybe I haven’t really looked for them, ha!}
All things we had around the house…. just had to group them together!
I believe everything we bought came from Hobby Lobby… nothing like a one-stop shop! And, the bedding came from Target! LOVE!
Oh, and this has nothing to do with my bedroom, but I finally replaced my nonexistent earring storage. I could paint it, and I may, but for now it is the perfect solution, AND it takes up hardly any space on the counter!
We’ve also been doing some fun things in the backyard that I’ll blog about later this week!

Looks so good! I have that same bedding, from Target right? Projects around the house are a great way to stay busy…especially when you're in a waiting period. ๐
